One person’s Mother, another person’s sister, a daughter, a wife, an Aunt or a best friend…
I watched this video during my “Getting Started” meeting for my first walk in 2011. Never had I attended a meeting and cried. I was moved beyond words at what I’ve heard and seen! I had to find this video and share it with everyone! “The cure starts with me, you, You and YOU!”

May 7, 2011 The Susan G. Komen “RACE FOR THE CURE” in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Over 15 Thousand People came out to support the cause! Participants enjoyed a 1 mile or 5K [3 mile] run/walk. This was an incredible event that gave inspiration to those fighting the terrible disease of Breast Cancer, and also hope for a much brighter future for all of our children and future generations. The best part of the day was meeting so many cool people, and sharing the collective energy created when we unite in Doing Good.

Think Pink! This May, the Gala Girls will give you the recipe for how to throw a Pink Party, where you can have guests help you raise money for one of the many Breast Cancer Walks around the country. Ask your guests to donate $10 each (instead of bringing wine or beer) and in return, feed them with pink inspired food, a Think Pink cocktail, play a Famous Mom quote game, listen to great walking tunes and take in some gorgeous pink flowers!
