I have always wondered how any type of Walk for Awareness helps raise money?
I have never been to anything like March of Dimes or the Breast Cancer walks so it always confused me how walking can help raise money.
To Zoey:
Okay, but how does that work?
Do people pay money before they walk?
I dont understand how the organizations work. I know money goes to research but I dont know how.
Various walks are a waste of time in my humble opinion. If people would contribute the money they would make working for the amount of time they spend getting contributions and actually walking, etc., the charities would be better off.
Usually, someone decides to walk, then browbeats friends and relatives into contributing money because they are walking.
We are having a Pink Fest walk at my school and I ned some good team name ideas???
keep em bouncin
