http://bit.ly/fOMlxc Bill Steele, of Baton Rouge, LA , walked 300 miles in 17 days with one mission: to show his son Will Steele, 34, who has cancer, how much he loves him and understands his pain.

The team Lynda’s Ladies was created to honor Jen’s mother (Lynda) who is an 18 year breast cancer survivor. Lynda was given a 20% chance to live for 5 years, but due to a clinical trial – she is still with us today.
Lynda’s Ladies has participated in The Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walks for Breast cancer since 2008. The first year Jennifer walked with a friend, Laura, and since then Jennifer has walked solo in DC, and now in San Diego. These walks benefit the Susan G. Komen Fund and the National Philanthropic Breast Cancer Fund. The walks are 60 miles over the course of three days.
These are the sights and memories you helped Jennifer to see during this year’s San Diego Walk.
Songs heard in the video are as follows:
#1 – I run for life by Melissa Etheridge
#2 – Pink Warrior – Candy Coburn

Remembering 10 years of Lowell General Hospital’s TeamWalk for CancerCare. Thousands have walked the historic riverwalks of Lowell for the past decade to help TeamWalk raise money for cancer patients in the Greater Lowell community. Unlike other walks, all money raised for TeamWalk stays in the community to help provide the areas most extensive array of support groups open to patients throughout our region, and to meet the personal needs of Lowell General cancer patients, including wigs, transportation to and from treatment, medications not covered by insurance and medical supplies. In “TeamWalk Memories” organizers, cancer patients, volunteers and walkers remember TeamWalk and share their personal message of TeamWalk and hope.
