Inspirational interviews, images and video clips from Avon Walk Around the World for Breast Cancer events across the globe. In 2007 nearly 50 countries participated in this global series of events. The Global Connection Ribbon — a large pink ribbon imprinted with “thank you” in many languages — is passed from woman to woman, virtually circling the globe. During the tour, each country selects a breast cancer survivor to attend a Walk Around the World event in another country to share the celebration and pass this special ribbon to the local survivor as a symbol of shared hope and survivorship.
