I am participating in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure walk in November of this year. I am walking 60 miles in 3 days. I need to raise $2,300 in order to walk so I would like to have a hot dog/ baked goods table at our fireworks on the 4th of July this year. I am not sure if I need a permit for this or not. And if I do, who do I talk to? Any suggestions?

If you would like to help me and donate, you can do so by going to www.the3day.org and clicking on donate. Search for Alysha Reeves. Any donation amount will help!

Thanks

yes if you are going to sell to the public/ or in public to make a profit. You can however set up a hot dog stand at your event with donation options for the hot dog as long as all proceeds go to the charity event.

Don’t you also have to have some sort of food Hygiene certificate ? Also you need to know if it’s already any-ones selling ground, people can get very nasty if their pitch is taken over.
But if its on your own property there shouldn’t be any problem, but the laws will be different in each country, (I am in England)
