im like a minor and dont have $65 so can i just go without registering
They insist on registering because if just anyone went out to collect money and were not registered, who knows, they may run off with money they collect and no one would be the wiser. Like the others have said, raise the money and walk for me. God bless you

2009 Sep 08 1hello Miles:
Yes but go around and find some one or several people to
donate for you to walk like 1.00 per mile.
and the more people you get will help.
And when you get there you should find the table to sign in.
and there are a few people like me who would love to walk
but are wheel chair bound that will be there.
I got ran over sept. 26, 2000 so I can not walk. but I also
have cancer and ms so people like me would love to have
some one walk for us. those are the people you need to
talk to are the people that are there.
We had a all night walk for cancer here. I sat up my
cotton candy machine and made candy to raise money
to help fight cancer.
So no giving up you can walk for someone.

2009 Sep 08 2Yes, you have to register – they need to know who’s out there! The whole point of the walk is to raise funds for the cause, so get out there and start washing cars or anything else you can think of to raise money!! My daughter will be walking in the 3-day, 60 mile walk in San Francisco in October (this is the 2nd year in a row she’s done it) – they have to raise $2200. before they can walk for that one, so $65. is easy!!! Way to go on wanting to get involved!!!
