Walking Across America: A Proposal

My name is Will, and I plan on walking across America from the Atlantic to the Pacific. My goal is to raise $100,000 for the Cancer Research Institute. I will be carrying a laptop and camcorder along the journey to record videos and upload them regularly right here on YouTube. In 1999 my father was diagnosed with cancer, so I’ve decided to help fight the good fight by raising money for the scientific and medical community on the front lines in the war on cancer.

If I can reach 10,000 people to donate just $10 bucks each to the Cancer Research Institute, then I will have reached my fundraising goal!

By the way, the person I was talking about at the start of the video was Peter Jenkins, who walked across America from New York to the Oregon coast starting in 1973. He wrote a bestselling novel about his journey.

    I was dignosed with a brain tumor last Nov and was told it had spread to my lung, kenndy and liver. My doctors told me to go on hospice that I only had weeks to a few months to live. After being on hospice for 3 months, the doctors reread my file and decided that I was not going to die and that I did not have cancer. S with all that being said, I would like to walk across the US and Canada to raise awrness for cancer. This is personal and I feel healthly and strong enough to embark on this jurney.
