   All marathons are 26.2 miles.

   26.2 miles with Donna is a marathon for breast cancer research. Link: http://www.breastcancermarathon.com/

   The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training is active at many marathons. Link: http://www.teamintraining.org/

   PanCan for pancreatic cancer is another group that’s active:. Link: http://www.pancan.org/Volunteer/National/index.html

   The best known races are the “Race for the Cure.” Many of these are 5Ks (3.11 miles). Link: http://ww5.komen.org/getinvolved/komenraceforthecure.html

   It is also very common to find local races that benefit a particular type of cancer or that raise money or awareness for a certain kind of cancer.

   Race for the Cure is a 1 mile walk or 5K race. There are also 3 day, 60 mile walks for breast cancer. Check the Komen.org website for details.
