I was asked to film at the 2008 Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure held at Balboa Park on Nov 2TH. The event was an eye opener with so many people who had survived cancer and was there. It was a day for pink. I even had on a pink cowboy hat and was proud. I was there not only as a cinematographer, but also to learn more about cancer.
It was great and the turn out was in the thousands. The Team I was with was called Skywalkers, who had this large bra that got noticed very quickly. The footage looks like a professional Sony Cine Alta or a Panasonic Varicam had shot it. The Canon FS100 for $249.99 has done it again making my films look like a million bucks. On a side note, there is this beautiful woman I interviewed and she looks like Sandra Bullock. At first I thought it was her.
