Cancer Walks Blog

Every year my kids and I drive to San Diego in November to support the Susan G Komen 60 mile 3 day walk. And every year we walk away with a greater sense of purpose and meaning on how to live our own lives. Since loosing my mother to breast cancer in 2004, I have found these events healing. It is so awesome to see thousands of people unite and connect for such an important cause. This tribute is dedicated to all those that realize that it is what we give in life, not what we take, that makes our lives great. Thank you Melissa Etheridge for writing such an amazing song. We are winning this war one survivor at a time!
