   Have you tryed looking at Relay For Life. I did that walk and it iwas tons of fun! Its a walk for cancer.they might have it where u live,i am not quite sure though. You should look it up at there website look for it in google.and type in Relay for life.

   great strides is usually done in may/june but the CF foundation ALWAYS needs participants in all kinds of charity stuff they do.

   Try contacting the local Red Cross. They should have a list of events that are being held .
